2011 Cardinal Key National Conference

Cardinal Key is excited to announce that the 2011 National Conference will be held Thursday, November 3rd through Sunday, November 6th at the Four Points by Sheraton Tempe, right outside Phoenix. We will be celebrating Cardinal Key, Arizona, and all of our attendees with a weekend of exciting activities and events!

Every two years, Cardinal Key Chapters from around the nation gather to hold our National Conference (Convention) as well as cultivate relationships among Cardinal Key members and chapters. Delegates and attendees will gather to meet other Cardinal Keys, brainstorm new ideas to enhance local chapter’s identity and goals, and much more.

Highlights this year include:

✴ Serving at the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes: “Blast Off to a Cure” in Tempe, AZ
✴ Election of new National Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer)
✴ A Phoenix exploration excursion
✴ One-on-one time with National Board Members to troubleshoot local chapter concerns

The conference will also include several opportunities for delegates to discuss their chapters and learn about others. There will be brainstorming sessions to discuss service and social events, fundraising, recruitment, and our national philanthropy. There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask any questions and seek advice.

Don’t forget, the National Office will pay travel and lodging for one delegate from each chapter to attend! But, we encourage you to send multiple attendees from your chapter, and even your chapter advisor/sponsor! Many of our current (and past) National Officers (and even one of the Co-Directors) were not delegates, but attended on their own. There will be something for everyone from your chapter, whether you are a graduating senior, first semester member, alumnus, or sponsor.
