Conference Theme: Celebrating the Virtues!

Hello CKs!

Just wanted to let you know a little information about the conference coming up.  Don’t forget to mark your calendars for November 3rd through the 6th! The conference theme this time around will be: “Celebrating the Virtues.”  When the National Officers took office almost two years ago, we started our KeyNotes with each of us focusing on one of the virtues:

Faith: Faith is the bird that sings when the dawn is still dark.  -Rabindranath Tagore

Trust: You must trust and believe in people or life becomes impossible. -Anton Checkhov

Fortitude: Fortitude is the marshal of thought, the armor of the will, and the fort of reason. -Sir Francis Bacon

Wisdom: By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by experience, which is the most bitter. -Confucius

These are the ideals of our Honor Society and during the conference each of the National Officers will cover one of the virtues.  If you want to slightly refresh your memory or read up on them a bit, check out issues of KeyNotes!   You should be receiving them to your email account now, if you aren’t, email us (nationalcardinalkey@gmail.com), and let us know!
