Conference Location – Sunny Phoenix, AZ

Greetings Cardinal Key members!

I want to talk about the location of our upcoming national conference, November 3rd-6th. We will be having some fun under the sun in Phoenix, Arizona!! If you haven’t been to Phoenix, what a great opportunity to broaden your travel experiences and meet a lot of amazing people. If you have been to the capital of Arizona then you can help us navigate our way around the big city. A lot of conferences that you attend you are stuck in meetings the whole time… Well, not at this conference! With us you will get a chance to get out and about and to see the city!

Fun facts about Arizona:

  • It is illegal to hunt camels in the State of Arizona
  • The name Arizona comes from the Indian “Arizonac” which means “Little Spring”.
  • The state flower is the saguaro cactus—it will take between 50 and 100 years for a saguaro cactus to grow an arm.
  • One fourth of the state is covered in forests.
  • In the city of Glendale it is illegal for a car to back up… that makes it difficult to park in a driveway!
  • Fun facts about Phoenix:
  • Phoenix averages 211 days of sunshine per year! 85 days per year are only partly cloudy, leaving an average of 69 days of cloudy or rainy days. Our chances of having a sunny day while we are there are pretty good!!
  • The Phoenix airport is the 6th busiest airport in the country.
  • Greater Phoenix is home to more than 200 golf courses.
  • Phoenix is one of only 13 U.S. cities with franchises in all four major professional sports leagues: Suns (NBA), Diamondbacks (MLB), Cardinals (NFL), and Coyotes (NHL).
  • 13-15 million people visit Phoenix each year…. One of those people could be you!!!

We look forward to meeting you all and having some fun under the Phoenix sun!!
