Common threads…

I fondly remember one of the questions asked during recruitment, “Why did you decide to rush Cardinal Key?” This question can elicit a range of responses depending on what CK looks like at your school, how content you are with your involvement on campus and the community, your relationships made since entering college, etc. For me, the answer to this question is one that continues to evolve the more time I spend serving, hanging out with my sisters, and reflecting on my CK experience. Going into Cardinal Key, I was eager to serve alongside such passionate women who genuinely want to get to know you. I was also looking for something that would help me feel like I was a part of something bigger than myself. Since attending the National Conference in Chicago and learning about the similarities and differences among CK chapters, I am soooo excited to see this reasoning for joining Cardinal Key expand to include reaching out to other chapters and getting them as excited as I was (and still am!) when I joined Cardinal Key. Whether your chapter is strictly an honor organization or is working on including more service and social events throughout the semester, I can guarantee that the more I got involved, the more I appreciated being a part of Cardinal Key. If your chapter is looking for ways to get more involved, check out the Chapter Support tab on cardinalkey.org!
